Practical, independent workplace support for employees and employers dealing with difficult workplace situations before problems escalate.

Workplace problems rarely start with a major dispute. Often, they begin with something much smaller, a difficult conversation, a breakdown in communication, a disagreement over how something has been handled, or a situation that simply doesn't feel right. If these issues aren't addressed early, they can become increasingly difficult for everyone involved.

This is why Work Resolve has been established: to provide practical, independent support to employees and employers who are facing challenging workplace situations and want to explore constructive ways forward.

A practical approach to workplace difficulties

Work Resolve recognises that workplace problems can be stressful, confusing and difficult to navigate, particularly when you are directly involved in the situation.

Whether you are an employee trying to understand what options may be available to you, or an employer or manager dealing with a difficult workplace situation, having an independent person to talk things through with can provide valuable perspective.

Work Resolve focuses on helping people understand the situation they are facing, consider their options and identify practical ways of moving forward.

The emphasis is on early and constructive resolution wherever possible.

Why seeking support early can help

People sometimes wait until a workplace situation has become serious before seeking support.

By that stage, communication may have broken down, relationships may have deteriorated and the options for resolving the situation may feel more limited.

Seeking an independent perspective earlier can help you step back from the situation and consider what might be done before matters escalate.

This doesn't mean every workplace problem can be resolved informally, or that early intervention will always lead to an agreement. However, understanding your position and having an opportunity to discuss the situation can help you make more informed decisions about what to do next.

Support for employees and employers

Work Resolve provides support across a range of workplace situations, including grievances, disciplinary matters, reasonable adjustments, redundancies, appeals and other workplace difficulties.

The aim isn't to tell people what they should do. Instead, Work Resolve provides a practical and independent space to explore the circumstances, understand the options available and consider an appropriate way forward.

For employers and managers, this can also mean having an independent perspective when dealing with challenging employee situations or workplace conflict.

For employees, it can provide an opportunity to talk through a difficult situation and better understand the options available to them.

Where workplace relationships have become strained or communication has broken down, mediation may provide an opportunity for those involved to address the issues in a structured and constructive way.

Workplace mediation can help people communicate, understand different perspectives and explore whether an agreed way forward is possible.

The purpose is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to create an opportunity for the people involved to have a constructive conversation and work towards a mutually acceptable resolution where appropriate.

Not every situation will be suitable for mediation, which is why understanding the circumstances is an important first step.

Start with a conversation

The first step doesn't have to be complicated.

Work Resolve offers an initial 45-minute consultation for £95, providing an opportunity to talk through the workplace situation you are facing and consider what support may be appropriate.

Following the initial consultation, further support is available at £35 per hour where required.

The approach is practical, independent and focused on helping you understand your options rather than making decisions on your behalf.

A new approach to workplace resolution

Work Resolve has been created around a simple principle: workplace problems are often better addressed when people have the opportunity to deal with them constructively and at the right time.

Whether you are an employee experiencing a difficult workplace situation, a manager dealing with conflict within your team, or an employer looking for practical support, getting an independent perspective can be a useful first step.

We invite you to explore the new Work Resolve website to find out more about the support available and the workplace situations we can help you navigate.

If you would like to discuss your situation, you can also book an initial consultation online.

Workplace problems don't always have simple answers but having the right conversation at the right time can make a difference.

Work Resolve provides practical workplace support and mediation services. It does not provide legal advice or act as a substitute for qualified legal representation where legal advice is required.
