2. Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is a one-off consultation designed to allow you to discuss your workplace situation and explain the circumstances in which you require support. The cost of the initial consultation is: £95 for a 45-minute consultation.
The initial consultation must be booked and paid for online through the Work Resolve website before the appointment is confirmed.
The consultation is intended to provide an opportunity to understand your circumstances, discuss the issues you are experiencing and consider what practical support may be appropriate.
Booking an initial consultation does not create an obligation for either you or Work Resolve to enter into an ongoing support arrangement.
3. Ongoing Workplace Support
If, following the initial consultation, you require further assistance, Work Resolve may provide ongoing support on an hourly basis.
The current rate for ongoing support is: £65 per hour.
The amount of time required will depend on the nature and complexity of the workplace issue and the level of assistance required.
Before undertaking substantial additional work, Work Resolve will endeavour to explain the nature of the work required and the likely time involved.
Additional support may include reviewing correspondence or documentation, helping you prepare for workplace meetings, assisting with written responses, discussing options available to you, or providing ongoing practical guidance in relation to your workplace situation.
4. Booking and Payment
-
All initial consultations must be booked through the online booking facility on the Work Resolve website.
-
Payment is required at the time of booking.
-
A booking is not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully received and the booking has been confirmed.
-
For ongoing support, payment arrangements will be agreed with you before further work is undertaken.
-
Work Resolve reserves the right to suspend or decline further work where payment has not been received.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
The initial consultation costs £95 for 45 minutes and payment is required at the time of booking.
Where you are booking as a consumer, your statutory rights under applicable consumer law are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.
Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply, you will normally have a 14-day cancellation period beginning on the day after the contract is entered into.
If you wish the initial consultation to take place during this 14-day cancellation period, you may expressly request that Work Resolve begins providing the service before the cancellation period has expired.
Where you make such a request and subsequently exercise your statutory right to cancel before the service has been fully provided, Work Resolve may be entitled to charge a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the point at which you notify Work Resolve of your cancellation, where permitted by applicable law.
If you expressly request that the consultation begins during the cancellation period and the consultation is fully completed during that period, you acknowledge that you may lose your statutory right to cancel once the service has been fully performed, where the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.
Once the consultation has been fully performed and any applicable statutory cancellation right has ended, the £95 consultation fee is non-refundable.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights you may have.
6. Cancellations and Missed Appointments
If you are unable to attend your scheduled consultation, you should contact Work Resolve as soon as reasonably possible.
Cancellation of an appointment does not automatically result in a refund. Any refund or payment due following cancellation will be determined in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and any statutory consumer rights that apply.
Where a consumer cancels within a statutory cancellation period, any refund or payment due will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
If you do not attend your scheduled consultation and have not exercised a statutory cancellation right, the £95 consultation fee will normally remain payable and no refund will be provided.
Where exceptional circumstances prevent you from attending, Work Resolve may, at its discretion, agree to rearrange the appointment. Any decision to rearrange an appointment is discretionary and does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund or replacement appointment.
7. Work Resolve Cancellation
In the unlikely event that Work Resolve needs to cancel an appointment, you will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible.
Where Work Resolve cancels an appointment and is unable to provide a suitable alternative appointment, you will be entitled to a refund of the payment made for that appointment.
